Thanks to the high-quality materials and careful installation, the track has stood the test of time and is still one of the best tracks in Europe.
The Stadio Olimpico in Rome will be the venue for the European Athletics Championships in 2024, an important international athletics competition. Therefore, a new athletics track is planned to be installed to meet the high requirements of the event.
Although the existing track is still in excellent condition, international competitions such as the European Athletics Championships require the highest standards for the track surface. Therefore, it is necessary to install a new athletics track to ensure that the competition conditions meet the requirements.
It is expected that the new track in Rome will meet the same high standards as the existing track. CONICA is in close contact with the stadium officials to discuss the requirements for a new athletics track.
Overall, the Stadio Olimpico in Rome is a prime example of the high quality and durability of CONICA tracks, which continue to provide excellent performance and meet the highest standards even after decades of use.
