This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence and help it find a “voice” that will make a difference. Considerable knowledge of the track and field industry and modern marketing practices through social media are key in this role. Marketing Coordinator 100% (m/w/d)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities
- Play key support role to Head of Marketing and Communication in planning and execution of marketing plan details for the US region.
- Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently
- Plan and execute campaigns for corporate promotion, launching of new product lines, etc.
- Responsible for lead generation for sales staff.
- Responsible for producing valuable content for the company’s online presence, editorial design, and organizing the company’s publications
- Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements
- Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects
- Become the organization’s agent towards external parties such as media, stakeholders, and potential clients and build strategic partnership
- Implement trade show and sponsorship strategies
- Monitor social media web analytics and analyse growth and areas of opportunity
- Draft weekly email marketing materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years marketing experience
- 1-2 years’ experience with or exposure to digital marketing including social media and email marketing
- Excellent strategic and analytical thinking capability
- Strong attention to detail
- Superior time management and prioritization skills
- Possess a goal-oriented approach, with the desire and capability to track activities to business metrics and an overall plan. The successful candidate has a demonstrated desire to conceptualize, execute, and report on complex integrated marketing programs
- Former athletic background is a plus
- Experience in Track & Field is a plus
- Excellent organizing skills
- Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Mailchimp, etc.) and Google Adwords
- Customer-oriented approach with aptitude
