World Records and Electrifying Moments – All on CONICA’s Track in Stockholm
16. June 2025
A night of greatness, a stage built for speed. The 2025 Stockholm Diamond League was a celebration of athletic excellence — a historic evening where records were shattered, legends grew, and the spotlight shone brightly on CONICA’s CONIPUR Vmax track.

After three years with the new track in place, Stockholm’s Olympic Stadium has truly come into its own. The surface is warm, tested, and trusted — and in 2025, it proved it’s ready once again for new personal bests, new records, and new heights. On this world-class track, greatness didn’t just happen — it accelerated.
Duplantis Flies Higher Than Ever
In front of a passionate home crowd, Armand “Mondo” Duplantis soared to new heights — literally. With a stunning first-attempt clearance of 6.28m, the Swedish pole vault phenomenon set a new world record, his 12th since 2020.
“I really wanted this. I wanted it here, in Stockholm, in front of these people,” said Duplantis. “It will be one of the most special memories of my career.”
Femke Bol Makes Stockholm Her Own
Dutch superstar Femke Bol continued her Diamond League dominance in the 400m hurdles, clocking 52.11 seconds and setting a new meeting record. For Bol, Stockholm is more than a stop on the calendar — it’s where her journey began.
Her first-ever Diamond League win happened here. Now, she returns stronger, faster, and more focused, extending her lead on the Road to the Final —
More Records. More Champions. More Proof.
The Stockholm Diamond League wasn’t just about one or two standout performances. It was a night where CONICA’s Vmax track powered the best in the world to the very edge of possibility:
- Julien Alfred (St. Lucia) scorched the 100m in 10.75 seconds, setting a new meeting record.
- Grace Stark (USA) broke the 100m hurdles meeting record in 12.33 seconds.
- Emmanuel Wanyonyi (Kenya) delivered a world lead in the 800m with 1:41.95, his fastest time since Budapest.
- Andreas Almgren (Sweden) shattered both the European and Swedish records in the 5000m with 12:44.27, thrilling the home crowd.
- Rai Benjamin (USA), Olympic champion, stormed to a world lead and meeting record in the 400m hurdles with 46.54 seconds, ahead of Alison dos Santos and Karsten Warholm in a spectacular showdown.
