At the Olympic training center in Oberhof / Germany training doesn’t only take place in the winter. To enable tobogganing professionals to train throughout the whole year, a brand new “summer start-up track” was recently installed.
Using the CONIPUR EPDM system from CONICA, it is now also possible in summer to sled in the winter sports center.
Our partner company BSS sports flooring systems from Wuppertal, installed a 130 m long and 2.5 m wide “start-up track” in stunning oxide red. The 15 mm thick CONIPUR EPDM coating offers professionals a safe and comfortable workout. The surface is permeable to water and dries very quickly after rain. The seamless, non-slip surface guarantees optimal conditions for training in the summer months.
