First Track Completed in Indonesia – Stadium Rawamangun, Jakarta
23. February 2026
In December 2025, a fully renovated athletics track featuring CONIPUR SW was completed at Stadium Rawamangun in Jakarta.
While CONIPUR SW systems have previously been installed in Indonesia, this project marks the first track successfully delivered by our new local partner, an important milestone in expanding our cooperation network in the region.
The stadium operates under the Youth and Sports Department of the Jakarta Provincial Government (Dispora DKI Jakarta) and is located next to the Faculty of Sports Science at Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). As part of a major sports complex that includes a velodrome, baseball arena and futsal facilities, the track plays a central role in athletic development in the capital.
The project was a complete renovation, including replacement of the asphalt base. With 8 lanes and a total surface area of approximately 7,200 sqm, the new CONIPUR SW system meets the performance requirements for national-level competitions. Installation was completed within 4–5 weeks.

Given Indonesia’s tropical climate, the system was executed with CP 326, specifically optimized for high humidity and temperature conditions. This ensures long-term durability and consistent performance under demanding environmental conditions.
Due to its strategic location within Jakarta’s sports hub, the facility will serve university athletes, national-level competitors, schools and training programs, as well as regional and national competitions. The project strengthens Jakarta’s position as a key athletics center and reflects the growing demand for certified, high-quality sports infrastructure in Southeast Asia.

“We are very happy about this new partnership and proud to see the first project successfully completed in Jakarta. It marks an important step in strengthening our presence in Indonesia,” says Germain Thomas, Regional Sales Director Far East and Oceania at Conica.

Muharram F. Nugraha, Head of the Infrastructure and Facilities Division of Dispora DKI Jakarta, adds:
“I am incredibly pleased with the successful total renovation of the athletics track at Stadium Rawamangun. Our primary goal was to provide a world-class facility that empowers our local athletes to reach their highest potential and allows the community to use a professional-grade space for fitness and healthy living. The quality delivered by the CONIPUR SW system has exceeded our expectations. We thank our partners for their professionalism in delivering this world-class track for our athletes and the local communities.”
This project represents more than a completed installation, it is a strong foundation for future collaboration and continued development of performance-driven athletics infrastructure in Indonesia.
