A global meeting point with purpose – CONICA at FSB 2025

After four inspiring days in Cologne, it is clear that FSB 2025 was more than just a trade fair – it was a true meeting place for innovation, sustainability, and collaboration. With an eye-catching stand, an engaging panel discussion, and countless international visitors, CONICA once again demonstrated what Swissness looks like in action: precision, reliability, and a passion for progress.

The CONICA stand was one of the highlights of this year’s FSB. Designed in the style of a Swiss alpine hut, it offered visitors an inviting space to experience the company’s values first-hand – a mix of authenticity, quality, and hospitality. Guests enjoyed traditional raclette, engaged in lively discussions, and captured memories in the popular photo booth, which quickly became one of the most-visited spots at the fair. More than just a stand, it became a place to connect, exchange ideas, and feel part of the CONICA community.
A particular highlight of the week was the expert panel on “Sustainable Innovation in Multipurpose Sports Surfaces”, featuring leading industry voices. The discussion explored how innovation and responsibility go hand in hand, and how recycled materials and long-lasting systems can deliver both athletic excellence and environmental benefit.

“It’s not just about surfacing systems or products – it’s about creating places where people can move, play, and grow. It’s about giving children a space to feel safe, athletes the foundation to perform, and communities the room to come together.”
As CONICA CCO Lara Guillod summarised after the event.

FSB also served as a valuable opportunity to reconnect with partners from all around the world. José Antonio Pérez, Sales Representative for Latin America, reflected on the week:
“FSB 2025 was a great success, with all the main players in the sector gathered again at full strength. For CONICA, it was a pleasure to welcome almost all of our partners from Latin America, to look back at the many projects we completed this year, and to discuss those that lie ahead in 2026. This event truly demonstrated the strength of our global network and the trust our customers place in us. It also reinforced why CONICA continues to be a trendsetter in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a strong presence through local partners in almost every country.”
Behind the success of the event stood a truly international team. Colleagues from Schaffhausen and around the world worked hand in hand to bring the brand to life, creating an atmosphere of warmth and collaboration that visitors immediately felt. Many partners later joined a site visit to Switzerland, where they experienced CONICA’s research, production, and testing facilities first-hand – continuing the conversations that began in Cologne.
As the lights dimmed at the Cologne fairgrounds, one sentiment remained: pride and motivation. FSB 2025 confirmed that CONICA’s mission goes beyond surfaces. It is about enabling movement, performance, and connection – about creating spaces where purpose meets performance.
