A New CONICA Athletics Track Beneath the Žižkov Television Tower in Prague

A new athletics track has been completed at Athletic Club Vinohrady Prague, creating a modern training and competition facility in one of the city’s most distinctive locations, directly beneath the iconic Žižkov Television Tower.
The project features the CONIPUR SP sports surface from CONICA, a proven system designed for athletics facilities that require reliable performance, long-term durability and a high level of athlete safety. Installed in RAL 1002, the new track gives the venue a distinctive and elegant appearance while providing athletes with a consistent surface for daily training and competition.
The successful completion of the project was made possible together with CONICA’s valued partner TUBEKO s.r.o., whose professional execution played an important role in delivering a high-quality athletics facility for the club and the wider sports community.
With this new track, Athletic Club Vinohrady Prague now offers an inspiring environment for athletes of all ages and performance levels. From young talents taking their first steps in athletics to experienced competitors preparing for their next race, the facility provides the conditions needed for progress, performance and personal bests.
