Comfortable, Safe and Low-Emission Flooring Solutions for Public and Educational Buildings
Modern public, educational and commercial buildings place high demands on flooring systems. They must be safe, durable, hygienic, comfortable underfoot, and meet increasingly strict requirements for indoor air quality and sustainability. The CONIFLOOR LPC and LPC+ LI coating systems are designed to meet exactly these needs.

Both systems are seamless, polyurethane-based flooring solutions developed for interior spaces where comfort, acoustics, hygiene and design flexibility are key priorities. They are particularly suitable for kindergartens, schools, universities, healthcare facilities, offices, administrative buildings and selected non-sport areas in sports facilities, such as changing rooms or training rooms.
Comfort, safety and acoustic performance
A central feature of CONIFLOOR LPC and LPC+ LI systems is their contribution to user comfort and safety. The systems provide a warm, elastic and comfortable walking surface, making them especially suitable for environments where people spend long periods on their feet.
Thanks to their structure, the systems offer impact sound reduction of up to 17 dB, helping to significantly improve acoustic comfort in busy environments such as corridors, classrooms or communal areas.
In addition, the flooring systems can be installed with slip resistance ratings of R9 to R10, supporting safe use in areas where moisture or heavy foot traffic may occur, such as sanitary rooms and changing areas.

Low emissions and indoor air quality
Indoor air quality is an increasingly important factor in building design. CONIFLOOR LPC and LPC+ LI systems are low-emission certified, ensuring minimal impact on indoor air quality throughout their service life. This makes them particularly suitable for sensitive environments such as schools, kindergartens and healthcare facilities.
Technical performance and durability
The systems are designed for long-term performance and structural reliability. Depending on the application, they are available in layer thicknesses ranging from approximately 2 mm to 6 mm and can include highly impact-sound-absorbing intermediate layers.
Key technical properties include:
- Static crack-bridging capability of up to 2 mm
- Low-emission certified system composition
- Impact sound reduction up to 17 dB
- Slip-resistant surface options (R9–R10)
- Fire classification up to Bfl-s1
- Seamless, hygienic surface structure
- Decorative finishes in matt or satin appearance
- Wide colour range according to RAL and NCS standards

Areas of application
CONIFLOOR LPC and LPC+ LI systems are designed for a wide range of interior applications, including:
- Educational buildings (schools, kindergartens, universities)
- Healthcare facilities (hospitals, care homes, treatment rooms)
- Office and administrative buildings
- Commercial interiors
- Public buildings such as canteens, corridors, foyers and dining areas
- Non-sport areas in sports facilities (e.g. changing rooms, showers, training rooms)
Their versatility allows architects and planners to create consistent flooring concepts across different functional zones within a building.
Sustainability and life cycle value
In addition to their technical and functional benefits, CONIFLOOR LPC systems are designed for long service life, with durability of up to 20 years depending on use and maintenance. Even after this period, full replacement is often not required; instead, surfaces can typically be refurbished using thin sealant layers, significantly extending their lifecycle and reducing overall life cycle costs.
Design flexibility
A wide range of colours based on RAL and NCS standards allows architects and designers to create tailored interior concepts. The seamless surface ensures a modern, clean aesthetic while maintaining functional performance.
